A simply elegant jewellery box, hand-made by a master-carver Gulam Rasool Ahanger from Kashmir.
In Kashmir the carving of walnut wood has been, traditionally, reserved for the very best carvers. Within that small group, Gulman was recognised with a National Award.
This exquisite jewellery box is a beautiful example of his craft.
The box is lined with velvet and has a “secret” lock. Removable top tray and dividers
